I was going to post this story a couple of weeks ago, since it was so ridiculously dramatic!
So, it was about 2 weeks ago, I had just ran into my mom at the store. I was with my ex-boyfrien,whom she hated for good reasons, and she chased us down the street begging me to come home.
Later, I guess an hour later...There was a knock on my mother and grandmother's home from my dearest neighbor informing them that i was in an ambulance outside. She paused and made out-- that it looked as if I was dead. My mom immediately ran outside and saw what she thought had been my hair sticking out of a sheet inside the ambulance. All the neighbors from the entire block were worried and positive that it was me. Only one person can fit inside the rescue van aside from the patient, and so my mom hopped i,n although they preferred my grandmother came with. My family was crying over the phone, my name and info was up on the screen inside the ambulance and my mom was praying. All she knew was that it was me, and my boyfriend had been arrested already.
Once all the way in a Los Angeles hopsital and hours of dreadful agony, the sheet was removed and my mother could not recognize me. At first she thought my face was deformed, but then she looked closer and realized this poor little girl was not me. She had no bus money and they forced her to leave without any confirmation about this girl. What a relief to my family, and for all of us to know that girl made it just fine afterall. This story was too emotional for anyone to tell me for about a week. And it still affected everyone. I no longer am going to be the number one suspect of being a victim. Suprisingly, I am still explaining to random neighbors that it was not me that night.
Although it wasn't me, I still feel very sad that this situation occurred and also that her real mother was not around to Identify her.
